The Lloyd Shaw Foundation is dedicated to the preservation, restoration and teaching of the folk dances of America.

Education:

Picture

The foundation offers many educational resources for the preservation and study of traditional folk dance forms, many of them free.  These include past copies of American Dance Circle, our quarterly publication, free lesson plans for teachers, and information about traditional dance figures.  Additional resources may be purchased from the foundation's store.  Purchases made through our store help to fund scholarships, grants and our on-going programming efforts!
